Undersea Project

Here are the plans for the submarine.

I am working with Mumu. We have already started on a frame for the body. I am still wondering if it will be strong enough, because it is hollow. Maybe we could put something inside to strengthen it. we are first going to use paper mache strips then paper mache pulp mixed with glue to make it strong as possible. We will also need as many bottles as possible for the stabilizers on the side. I can’t help feeling worried if we will finish it on time. We will probably need to take pieces to work on at home.

First i thought of a torpedo, then a happy looking torpedo, then a submarine, then this research submarine.

We have now started with paper mache strips and pulp. We are slowly progressing, but I am still worried if we will get finished on time. I thaink that we probably will, but I am also worried about the dome at the front and the 2 tubes at the side. The dome at the front looks like a cone, and we havent even made the tubes yet, and we dont know how to fix them on. We decided to spraypaint the submarine black and yellow. Still on the good side, we have put paper mache pulp all over one side. Probably we will have to work overtime.

This is a good picture because it shows everything that our real submarine should be shaped like, except we will add tubes on the side like in the plan, only a lot smaller, and on the back there will only be one propeller. The top will simply have one box, and no little fins. We are going to paint ours yellow, and there will be a window on the front. The bottowill also have nothing on it.
